A coordinated day of protests around the world last November 5 was planned by members of the amorphous hacktivist group Anonymous. New documents indicate that Anons weren’t the only one interested in those events, however. Ahead of the Guy Fawkes Day march in Olympia, Washington, officials at Bank of America coordinated with state and federal agents to keep track of the activist’s activities. Details have recently surfaced that this coalition conducted in-depth tracking of the event’s organizers, and BofA even relied on 20 of their own employees to spy on participants using social media. RT’s Ameera David has more on the just-uncovered surveillance operation.
