What good is Puerto Ricans’ US citizenship?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico.

The Federal Drug and Food Administration closed down the Puerto Rican Poultry Corporation PolloPicúin Puerto Rico in 2002, because it said that its poultry was unhealthy. PolloPicú and Coamo’s mayor said that it was a plan to close down the Puerto Rican business established 25 years ago to eliminate its competition.

The people of Vieques accused the US government of causing a higher than normal rate of health problems, because of its 60-year use of their island for live bombing in its military practices. The US government denied that the higher rate had anything to do with its bombing. Click on the following link to see the article on this issue:

Our US citizenship is good for denying us work in our own Puerto Ricans companies in Puerto Rico, and ruining our health with dangerously hazardous operations.

We must protest permanently to force the US government to comply with the United Nations’ Charter and its 36 resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

We will need a tsunami of people to do that, because those who harm your health on purpose don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL!
